I am absolutely thrilled and deeply moved to announce that my watercolor painting, “The Quiet Power Beneath,” has won a Viewers Choice Award at the 3rd Annual Women in Watercolor Members Only – 2026 Online International Exhibition.
Chosen from Over 18,800 Total Votes! This award holds an incredibly special place in my heart because it was chosen directly by the public. I am speechless and endlessly grateful to share that out of over 18,800 total votes cast globally, my painting was selected as one of the six winners among numerous outstanding artworks from talented women watercolorists around the world.
About the Award-Winning Piece: “The Quiet Power Beneath” is a vibrant exploration of marine life, capturing the majestic presence and vivid textures of an octopus in a coral reef. Knowing that the quiet strength and colorful details of this piece resonated with so many viewers is the greatest encouragement an artist could ever ask for.
I want to extend my most sincere thanks to the Women in Watercolor (WIW) organization for hosting such a wonderful exhibition, and to every single person who took the time to cast a vote for my work. A huge congratulations to the other five amazing winning artists as well! Your support means the world to me!
