Yanqing Huang (QingQing) is a professional watercolor artist based in China. Her lifelong dedication to art began with formal training at the age of five, establishing a foundational mastery that continues to shape her artistic path.

Her creative vision is deeply informed by her multifaceted life experiences as a National Registered Environmental Impact Assessment Engineer, the legal representative of an environmental protection enterprise, an avid diver, and a global traveler. Having descended into the ocean’s depths to explore shipwrecks and swim alongside marine life, she possesses a visceral understanding of fluidity, light, and ecological vitality. These immersive encounters with environments rarely touched by human presence, combined with the structured, analytical observation required of an EIA Senior Engineer, serve as the primary inspiration for her work.

Working primarily in watercolor, QingQing utilizes the medium’s inherent fluidity to translate her experiences into visual forms. She views each painting as a descent into perception itself. Her cohesive body of work aims to preserve the transient, transforming ephemeral moments of light, atmospheric shifts, and quiet clarity into enduring visual narratives.

As an exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) and a member of the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Alliance, her meticulously crafted works reflect an ongoing search for inner autonomy and a profound reverence for the natural world.
