Double Honorable Mention: Two Artworks Recognized at the TERAVARNA 14th OPEN Competition

I am deeply honored to announce that two of my original watercolor paintings have been awarded an Honorable Mention at the 14th OPEN International Juried Art Competition, hosted by TERAVARNA Art Gallery in Los Angeles.

TERAVARNA is a wonderful platform that brings together talented artists from around the world. Being selected for a double honor in an “Open” category—which welcomes a diverse array of themes, styles, and mediums—is a significant validation of my artistic practice.

About the Award-Winning Artworks:

• “Between Breath and Light” (2026, 102x73cm): This large-scale figurative piece explores a serene, introspective moment of a woman emerging from deep water toward a warm, illuminating sky. It represents a spiritual awakening and the delicate transition into light.

• “Vintage Window of Prosperity” (2026, 28.4x31cm): In contrast to the fluidity of the first piece, this painting is a highly detailed, realistic study of an old, weathered window. It captures the textures of rust, peeling paint, and torn paper, preserving the quiet history and memories embedded in urban decay.

Both artworks are currently on display in the official online Winners Gallery. I warmly invite you to view my pieces alongside the incredible works of my fellow international artists.
