I am incredibly honored to share that my original watercolor painting, “Homeward Bound: Auspicious Winter Snow,” has been awarded the Talent Prize in the 13th LANDSCAPE International Juried Art Competition, hosted by TERAVARNA Art Gallery in Los Angeles.
The landscape theme is a cornerstone of artistic expression, and this competition brings together a diverse array of talented artists from around the world to interpret the natural environment. To have my winter landscape recognized by the international jury at TERAVARNA is a profound encouragement for my realistic watercolor practice.
About the Award-Winning Artwork: “Homeward Bound: Auspicious Winter Snow” (2025, 41 x 31 cm) captures the serene and quiet chill of a snowy countryside road. The painting focuses on the crisp textures of the snow resting heavily on the rocky banks and bare winter trees, contrasting with the soft, atmospheric sky where a flock of birds journeys onward. My aim was to convey not just the coldness of winter, but the peaceful, auspicious promise of the coming spring that lies at the end of the road.
The exhibition is currently live in the official online Winners Gallery. I warmly invite you to view my painting and explore the magnificent landscapes created by my fellow international artists.
