PWCS Honorable Mention: “Unwavering Focus” Recognized at the 2026 Members Show

I am incredibly honored to announce that my watercolor painting, “Unwavering Focus,” has been awarded an Honorable Mention at the Philadelphia Water Color Society (PWCS) 2026 Members Show.

Founded in 1900, the PWCS is one of the oldest and most prestigious watercolor societies in the United States. The 2026 Members Show is a highly competitive exhibition, featuring 224 exceptional works selected from 124 artists. Receiving this award from such a distinguished organization is a profound encouragement and a significant milestone in my artistic career.

About the Featured Artworks: I am thrilled to have two original paintings included in this year’s online exhibition:

• “Unwavering Focus” (2026, 39.2×26.5cm): This award-winning piece captures the intense concentration and dynamic energy of a dog leaping through the water to retrieve a ball. My goal was to freeze that split second of pure, joyful determination using the fluid capabilities of watercolor.

• “Coastal Luminescence” (2026, 55x31cm): Also selected for the exhibition, this piece focuses on the intricate patterns of seafoam and the vibrant, translucent colors of the ocean as waves crash along the shore.
