“Unwavering Focus” Selected for PSA Summer 2026 Portraits of the Animal Kingdom

I am deeply honored to announce that my original watercolor painting, “Unwavering Focus” (《志在必得》), has been officially selected for the Summer 2026 Portraits of the Animal Kingdom Online Exhibition.

Hosted by the prestigious Portrait Society of Atlanta (PSA), this exhibition is a dedicated celebration of animal portraiture, bringing together talented representational artists to capture the spirit and character of wildlife and beloved companions. To have my realistic watercolor practice recognized by such a distinguished portrait society is a tremendous milestone.

About the Featured Artwork: “Unwavering Focus” (2026, 39.2 x 26.5 cm) is a dynamic exploration of action, water, and animal determination. The painting captures a split-second moment of a dog surging through the water, tightly gripping a ball in its mouth. My goal was to utilize traditional realism techniques to render the intense focus in the dog’s eye, the wet texture of its fur, and the explosive, translucent water splashes freezing in mid-air.

The online exhibition will run from June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026. I warmly invite you to explore the incredible collection of animal portraits through the official links below:

Thank you all for your continuous support and encouragement!
