Double Victory: “Unwavering Focus” and “The Black Horse” Awarded at LST Summer 2026 Exhibition

I am incredibly honored to announce that two of my original watercolor paintings have received top recognitions at the “Summer 5 for $10” 2026 Online Art Exhibition, hosted by the Light Space & Time (LST) Online Art Gallery.

This highly competitive international exhibition attracts talented artists from around the world. To have my realistic animal portraiture recognized by the jury across multiple award tiers is a profound encouragement for my artistic journey.

About the Award-Winning Artworks:

  • “Unwavering Focus” (2026, 39.2 x 26.5 cm): This dynamic painting captures a split-second moment of a dog surging through the water to fetch a ball. It was awarded 6th Place Overall across all participating media, as well as 4th Place in the Paint & Other Media Category. Through traditional realism techniques, my goal was to render the intense focus in the dog’s eyes and the explosive, translucent water splashes freezing in mid-air.

  • “The Black Horse with a Red Rose” (2026, 36 x 26 cm): This romantic and striking piece received a Special Merit award. The painting features a beautiful black horse gently holding a vibrant red rose against a warm, golden background. It is a study of contrasts—the dark, velvety coat of the horse against the delicate, bright petals of the flower.
