Double Honor: Two Realistic Watercolors Recognized at LST 16th Annual “Landscapes” Exhibition

I am incredibly honored to announce that two of my original landscape watercolor paintings have received prestigious awards at the 16th Annual “Landscapes” Art Exhibition (June 2026), hosted by the Light Space & Time (LST) Online Art Gallery.

This international online exhibition is dedicated to art that captures the diverse beauty of natural environments and cityscapes. Having my explorations of both vibrant autumn reflections and serene winter snowscapes recognized simultaneously by the jury is a profound encouragement for my realistic watercolor practice.

About the Award-Winning Artworks:

  • “Golden Autumn at Swartz Bay” (2025, 41 x 31 cm): This piece was awarded a Special Merit in the Paint & Other Media category. Inspired by the breathtaking coastal landscapes of British Columbia, Canada, this painting focuses on the rich, vibrant foliage of autumn trees reflecting beautifully on the calm, sparkling waters of Swartz Bay. Through layered watercolor techniques, I sought to capture the crispness of the Canadian air and the golden warmth of the season.

  • “Homeward Bound: Auspicious Winter Snow” (2025, 41 x 31 cm): This serene winter landscape received a Special Recognition award. It depicts a quiet, snow-covered countryside road bordered by rocky banks and bare winter trees, contrasting with a soft atmospheric sky where a flock of birds journeys onward. The painting conveys not just the chill of winter, but the peaceful, auspicious promise of the coming spring.
