I am incredibly thrilled and honored to announce that my watercolor painting, “Splendid Coral Realm,” has been selected for the Extended Longlist of the prestigious Jackson’s Art Prize 2026.
This year, the Jackson’s Art Prize saw a record-breaking number of submissions, with 16,280 entries from 110 countries. Therefore, the competition was incredibly fierce. I am deeply humbled and proud to share that as an artist on the extended longlist of 4,200 works, my painting made it into the top 26% of all entries worldwide.
About the Artwork: “Splendid Coral Realm” is a vibrant watercolor piece that captures the complex beauty and majestic presence of an octopus navigating a colorful coral reef. Creating this piece allowed me to explore intense color palettes and intricate textures. I am so grateful that the judging panel connected with my vision among such an extraordinary pool of global talent.
What’s Next: Being on the Longlist is a monumental milestone in my artistic journey. I look forward to the upcoming announcements. Additionally, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all my collectors, followers, and the Jackson’s Art Prize team for their incredible support.
