I am incredibly honored to announce that my original watercolor painting, “Between Breath and Light” (《苏醒》), has been officially selected for the IV. Budapest International Art Show (ArtBIAS IV).
This prestigious international exhibition is jointly organized by the Los Angeles-based Teravarna Art Gallery and the Golden Duck Gallery. The physical exhibition is currently taking place in Budapest, Hungary, providing a wonderful platform for international cultural exchange among artists worldwide.
About the Exhibited Artwork: “Between Breath and Light” (2026, 102 × 73 cm) is a deeply personal piece exploring themes of awakening, hope, and the transition between elements. The painting depicts a woman partially submerged in deep, tranquil water, looking upward toward a vibrant, glowing sunset where a single bird takes flight. Using fluid watercolor techniques, I aimed to capture the ethereal play of light on the water’s surface and the emotional resonance of taking a quiet, hopeful breath.
Exhibition Highlights: The opening reception at the Golden Duck Gallery & Art Space was a tremendous success. It was heartwarming to see such a large, engaged crowd gathered inside the gallery to celebrate contemporary art and listen to the opening remarks.
