Bronze Award: “Sealed Sweetness” Wins at Global Painting Conclave Still Life Competition

I am incredibly honored to announce that my original watercolor painting, “Sealed Sweetness” (《凝封的鲜甜》), has been awarded the Bronze Award in the Still Life Painting May 2026 international competition.

Hosted by the Global Painting Conclave, this competition recognizes exceptional talent in still life art from around the world. Receiving this Bronze Award from the international jury is a wonderful validation of my dedication to the hyper-realistic watercolor technique.

About the Award-Winning Artwork: “Sealed Sweetness” (2026, 20.4 x 25.4 cm) is a meticulous exploration of texture, light, and hyper-realism. The painting intimately captures vibrant strawberries and a slice of citrus tightly bound in clear plastic wrap. My goal was to push the boundaries of the watercolor medium by rendering the complex, reflective folds of the plastic and the delicate condensation droplets trapped beneath it, sealing in the fresh, bright colors of the fruit.
