Two Realistic Watercolors Selected for the “Here is the Wind” Exhibition at UNO Art Space

I am incredibly honored to announce that two of my original realistic watercolor paintings, “Where the Wind Rests” (formerly Guardian of the Prairie) and “Aerial Power and Grace” (《羽翼风云》), have been officially selected for the “Here is the Wind” thematic art exhibition.

Hosted by the UNO Art Space (壹•美术馆) in Guangzhou, this exhibition explores the tangible and intangible qualities of the wind—as the breath of nature, a carrier of memories, and the invisible force of time.

About the Featured Artworks:

Both selected pieces utilize highly detailed realistic watercolor techniques to capture the essence and traces of the wind in the wild:

  • “Where the Wind Rests” (2025, Framed 90 x 70 cm): This painting features a vigilant hawk perched on a weathered, abandoned wooden wagon wheel in a sweeping prairie. It serves as a visual echo of transition and time; the cracked textures of the wood represent the physical marks left by the wind, while the majestic bird arrives on the wind to become the new guardian of the land.

  • “Aerial Power and Grace” (2026, Framed 90 x 44 cm): Wind reveals its true form during the fiercest clashes of life. This piece captures a dynamic, mid-air battle between two wild eagles. The invisible wind is visualized through the explosive movement of their wings, the torn air, and the drifting black and white feathers suspended in the turbulence.

The exhibition opens with a special reception on June 15, 2026, at 15:00, and will remain open to the public until July 31, 2026.
